The Division of Student Affairs is accepting online applications for new board members to serve on the 2023-2024 Clemson Family Advisory Board.
The Clemson Family Advisory Board — affectionately known as CFAB — is a group of dedicated parents who assist the University as we strive to meet the educational and developmental needs of our students and address parents' needs for involvement, information and support.
The purpose of CFAB is to:
- offer parents’, guardians’ and/or family members’ perspective to Clemson University and provide parents, guardians and/or families a voice;
- be well-informed ambassadors for the University, maintaining positive interactions and demonstrating Clemson’s core values;
- plan, direct and support programs related to recruitment, student engagement and student life experiences.
Eligibility Criteria:
Any interested parent or legal guardian of a currently enrolled Clemson student is eligible to serve on the Advisory Board. Incoming parents/guardians of freshmen are not eligible until their student is enrolled to ensure they can experience orientation as an incoming parent/guardian.
Application Information:
If you're interested in applying to serve on CFAB, please apply ONLINE. The application deadline is December 1, 2022. Applicants will be notified of their application status no later than February 2023. Members serve a minimum of one year, and the terms run from April to April.
