My son tells me that most if not all of his classes are going to continue to be online even after he moves back on the campus next week. What is the point of having all the students move back in if there's not going to be in-person instruction? I suspect it's all about money. Is there a policy to assure the quality of online instruction? Has the University president or anyone else made any public statements regarding professors or instructors actually being held accountable to teach the same number of hours for which they would be doing so in person? I've heard from several parents and students where the quality of instruction has gone "downhill". Some students are actually considering putting together a petition but fear retribution from the professors. If there is a public policy regarding online instruction quality standards, it should provide an anonymous means for students to provide feedback. They are the one paying the bills and are the "customer".
